Default SPD and update at 28 weeks

Well, I saw the ante-natal consultant today, she agreed with my thoughts on
SPD, saying that she is worried my left hip (previously undislocated) is
also getting weaker, but also more stiff. She has referred me for urgent
physio, hopefully in the next week or so, so that I can get a support belt.

I also had my first anti-d injection today - Ow!!! Wow, they put a lot of
juice into that muscle! After two blood test sites (apparently I didn't eat
the right food for the glucose test, the same test that I didn't know I was
having today! So had to have that done later in the day), my poor left arm
is feeling a bit sorry for itself.

The baby has picked up on growth again, which is good, but apparently I am
carrying a lot of water, which I suspected as I seem to be quite big
compared to others I have seen.

In regards to all the headaches I have been getting, my blood pressure was
fine (actually lower than it has been for a while), so I was told that if
they don't improve after two doses of painkillers, to call a midwife or
doctor, otherwise, they are ok.

My blood is lacking certain proteins (c and s?) so have been told to
continue taking asprin daily.

All in all, I felt it was a good visit, cleared up lots of issues, and she
was a really nice doctor.

sounds good, I hope the physio is helpful, they can vary wildly, I saw a
physio in my first pregnancy and it really made no difference at all,
possibly even a hinderance. In my 2nd I saw someone who was a chiropracter
but also a pilates instructor, he was utterly fab, I'd go back to him now if
he wasn't the other side of the world!
