Default fighting sleep question

at what age is it normal for babies to fight sleep?

Caden in 3 weeks old and already starting to do it during the day... i
remember reading somewhere that newborns will fall asleep when they are
tired, and not fight.... but its not what he is doing... any reason for
this??

At three weeks old I would guess that he is maybe past the point where sleep
comes easily for him. Some babies have a very hard time falling asleep
when they get over tired. Walking, rocking, and some of those typical
things will agitate some babies. They would prefer to just be left alone or
sit very still with or near them.

Good luck!

#2 fought sleep from day 2. Old wives tale that newborns "never" fight
sleep.
