Kenneth,

Your are absolutely right! Dr. Phil is a phony!
It is frightening to hold up people like him,
Oprah, and other bleeding heart socialist liberals! Finally, let
us
all
hope and pray that
"It Takes A Village" Hillary Clinton is NOT elected(or nominated)
for
President of the
country.....When that day comes, I'm gettin'
my ass out of this country!!!!!!!!

Actually, it would be good if Hitlery wins the nomination because
then
it
will be all but guaranteed that we will not get a socialist for
president.

Do you think Hillary is not socialist-minded?
I beg to differ. She is adamant in that the state should give to
all
(women and children) what they need based on their needs (without
working), taken from those who have no political power/money.

I agree. What I am saying is that she is so far out there that if
she gets
the nomination she will not get elected. However, if some other
dirtbag
demmie gets it, there is a much better chance that they will be
elected.

I agree that Hillary winning the nomination will pretty much tank it
for the Dems next time around. Which would be a good thing.

Unfortunately, the Reps haven't been offering much lately other than
"We're not Democrats". That doesn't cut it for me, and neither does
their occasional insinuation that they might, someday, if we really
believe, no really, trust us on this one, actually move a muscle to
rectify things in the family courts (which is pretty much as far as
they go).

Plenty of Rep jerks profit from the system the way it is (look at
Mike Cox), while insisting that it's all the fault of the Dems. In a
way that's even worse.

Here's a story I've told here befo

A man returned home from work to find his front door smashed in,
muddy
footprints all over his floor, and two complete strangers in his
house.

Instead of fleeing, the strangers remained calmly going about their
business -- one of them fixing a sandwich for himself from bread and
meat taken out of the man's fridge, and the other relaxing on the
sofa
and watching cable TV while enjoying a cold beer (also taken from the
man's fridge).

Both incredulous and outraged, the homeowner grabbed the nearest
intruder (the one fixing the sandwich) by the scruff of his neck and
shook him. "What the Hell are you doing in my house?!?", he shouted.

"Don't look at me," replied the stranger indignantly while pointing
his
finger at the man on the couch. "It was that guy over THERE who
kicked
the door in!"

That pretty much sums up my opinion of the Republicans so far as
Father's Rights and Family Court issues are concerned.

In the last presidential election I voted for Badnarik, who I knew
wouldn't win but who at least had the sand to come out and say that
there was a problem that needed fixing in our family courts, and that
he intended to do something about it.

I've registered as Independent and intend to vote *against*, instead
of "for".
Can't do much good but it's what I can do.
The problem with some independents is that they are whack jobs in
some cases who cannot get the time of day from the other (two
indistinguishable), 'real' parties. Many are good, solid candidates
but with so many voting along party lines, they don't have much
chance. Change will only come when the majority of the People get fed
up.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but I really do think the
Libertarians could do this country some good. In general I agree with
thier philosophies, the problem being as you said that most everyone
votes for either Tweedledum or Tweedledee and a vote for anyone else
seems "wasted". But I don't think it's really wasted if I'm voting
for what I really believe in, instead of AGAINST what I DON'T. Maybe
I'm just a starry-eyed idealist but it seems that if people voted for
what they WANTED rather than against what they DIDN'T, the world would
be a better place.

And even if they don't win, if Libertarians get enough of the vote the
Twins will want to know WHY, if only so they can try to get the votes
back... And that's a good thing for us, if we're vocal about why we
voted for them.

Usually, there is no choice between what is wanted and what is not. For
instance, this year in Oklahoma the ballot for Governor only had two
choices; both bad. The only choices were either Republicans or Democrats
in the primary and the general. An independent ran for Lt. Gov., whose
main platform was *where* a yearly rivalry (Oklahoma and Texas) football
game should be played.
Usually, there is no such choice as *wanted*, in my opinion but rather
to vote for what is hoped to be the least damaging.

And in such cases, you do what you can.

But often there is at least one third party candidate who isn't a total
kook, and has some decent ideas. I think Badnarik was one of those.
Libertarians in general fall into this category for me (although there
are certainly Libertarian kooks out there).
