Congratulations Megan!

I am sure your twins will be the perfect addition to your family.

We currently only have one other bedroom besides our own, so our B/G twins
share a room. I think you will have to play it by year, just like most other
things. I went into my Motherhood of twins thinking I had to be ultra
prepared. I quickly realized nothing could really prepare me, especially for
how wonderful it is.

If I had to predict the future I would say my children will have separate
rooms so they can have "space" of their own but it would not surprise me if
they choose to sleep in the same room for quite a while. We do not have other
children so that is not an issue for us.

Good luck!

Well, yes, when they move out (in our case). We have only one decent big
enough room. I've no problems with that, and I sincerely hope my kids
won't either.

Thanks Everyone!

It sounds like planning to keep the twins together as long as THEY
want is the way to go. Hopefully, by the time they want their own
space, we'll have built another room onto our house! {It won't be
anytime soon!! }

I feel like I'm getting bigger everyday now and I still have 'til
Feb.! I am really looking forward to meeting them and finding out who
they are!

Thanks again and I'm sure I'll be back for more advice!!

I think it's entirely up to you and your kids, and varies totally by family.
My BGB triplets shared til they were almost 6 and a half with no problems
other than the usual bedtime giggling, irritations, etc. Certainly nothing
B-G related. Your girls may be dying to share sooner or your elder daughter
may be very protective of her own room or the twins may have trouble
sleeping in a shared space from the age of 6 months .... Just have to wait
and see.

Hello!

We will be welcoming our twins to our family in February (knock wood).
We have an almost 2 year old daughter too. I'm wondering how long
you kept your boy/girl twins sharing the same room? I'm thinking two
years from when they are born, my older daughter will move into the
larger room with her little sister. Am I dreaming, or does this sound
reasonable

Any other advice about boy/girl twins would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your comments!
