I've been offering Laszlo "boobie" since he weaned at 13 months, a year ago.
I offer it to him mostly in a joking manner and he always says no. The
other night I was in bed and I always lie with my shirt up and belly exposed
because that's when Lily does the most dancing...and part of our nightly
routine is that we watch a video in our bedroom before Laszlo goes to bed.
He was noticing my huge belly, and I said, "Laszlo, want some boobie?" He
leaned over, licked my stomach and said, "Yum boobie!" I guess he remembers
a little, huh?

He licked my stomach a few more times and said, "Yum" - it was just so cute.
He's really been cracking me up the last couple of days.

People keep asking me what I'll do if he wants to nurse after seeing Lily
nurse once she gets here. I say that I'm almost 100% sure that he won't,
since he weaned himself and never looked back. If he does, I'll certainly
let him try and see what he thinks...but I really don't think it's going to
be an issue for us.

OH, AND, he's doing a lot better socially all of a sudden...guess all it
took was some more practice! We went to Gymboree last Monday and he did
really well, played with his lil friends. Then today we went to our new
house and he was awesome there...which makes me feel SO much better about
moving there. He remembered that there's a huge green ball in the basement
and he even let the current homeowner hold his hands and roll him on the
pillow...and she's a total stranger!

Please, don't respond to this post with anything negative, I can't handle it
right now.

:-)

that's very cute. and fantastic laszo is socialising more. DS (18 mths) had
been getting a bit aggressive towards other kids (he doesn't get that stuff
hurts other people), but lately he has surprised me by enjoying playing with
others really well & having a great (not aggressive at all) time. i think
kids just need time to work out how people & the world works.
