missedpill, missedperiod, negative tests

Hoping someone else out there has gone through something similar. I
missed the very last active pill in my pack but did not realize it
until two days later. I took it as soon as I noticed I had missed it,
just like it says to do in the insert. I am now one week late with my
period, and I have already taken three pregnancy tests...all have come
up negative. Everything I have read says that missing one pill will
not cause ovulation, but I have never been this late since i started
taking the pill three years ago. I am not ready for a pregnancy, so I
am very worried. Can my level of stress be the cause of my lateness?
I have read that missing a pill can cause a period to occur, but can a
missed pill cause it to be late as well?

I think its better you. check with your doctor or gp, the same things
happened to me First time, fine, I had my period after I see the my
doctor, the second time.... He...he... I'm pregnant, now 25 weeks. So, I
guess if you are not ready better for you to check early. Take care.
