two kids and exercise
I chase #1 round the park while carrying #2. For 30 minutes. Then I carry
#1 piggy back home (10 minutes) while pushing the pram. Why do you need to work out? Debbie I was never in better shape than when my husband was taking the car to work and I was taking the twins everywhere in the double stroller. Coming back up that hill with two toddlers, groceries, and a pile of library books -- man, I don't know how I did it! Since the kids have been in school I've gotten to be quite the couch potato. Just recently I got a month's gym membership at a school auction and have been using the rowing machine a lot. I like it very much, and can tell my endurance has improved, but unfortunately I can't say I look any better for it yet. I occasionally take long walks after the kids are in bed, now that the evenings are so pleasant, and I've taken a couple of short yoga classes and occasionally done yoga exercises at home (enough so that my five-year-old son will sometimes get out the book and do them on his own, which is just too cute for words). --Helen |

two kids and exercise
I wasn't able to get into a regular exercise program until all three of my
girls were in school full time. Between having to pick up for preschool for a few years and kindergarten, there just wasn't enough time and/or babysitting available to me. Now since the girls are in school full time, I work out three mornings a week. -- Sue (mom to three girls) ted wrote in message om... I want to know when you usually workout? What do you do for workout? Please specify if you SAH or WOH. Thanks. |
