You snipped his background, Robert.

Your *organized medicine* brain washing is showing.

Robert,

In ALL of this projects the United Stated considered him to be both a
toxicologist AND a PATHOLOGIST!

You don't need to have a license for "projects". What is his license to
practice as a professional in his state, he needs a license.
You don't need a license in academic research because you are not
responsible to anybodies health.
Understand this. He is not a licensed pathologist under any definition of
licensure by any given state.

Furthermore, he is NOT a *forensic pathologist*.

What is a forensic pathologist?
Forensic pathology is a specialized area of pathology. The forensic
pathologist performs autopsies to determine the cause and manner of
death in situations falling under the jurisdiction of the local medical
examiner or coroner. These situations include, however, are not limited
to violent deaths such as homicides, accidents, and suicides. Other
categories are suspicious deaths, sudden and expected deaths, deaths in
children and infants, prisoners, persons under the care of an
institution, situations where illicit drugs or alcohol may have
contributed to the death, deaths occurring during or in close proximity
to a surgical procedure, deaths in individuals not under the care of a
physician or when the private physician is unable or unwilling to
certify the death certificate, and deaths when there is suspicion of a
public health threat. Many persons fail to realize that approximately
half of the deaths examined by the forensic pathologist are natural
deaths occurring in the absence of injury. The forensic pathologist is
also an expert witness in the court of law, testifying in a variety of
civil and criminal cases involving death or injury.

http://www.forensiconline.com/generallink.htm#a9

A *FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST* is uniquely qualified to render an opinion on
the cause of death, moreso than any other discipline in pathology.

You may also want to see the nature of the training of the forensic
pathologist and compare it to al-Bayati's. There is NO comparison.

For an accurate analysis of the al-Bayati report, read:

http://catallarchy.net/blog/wp-conte...t_on_Eliza.pdf

A comment, from a forensic pathologist and deputy coroner:

I read this post and it was the first time I've heard about Dr.
Al-Bayati. I find it interesting that no-one could find an actual
pathologist (that is an MD who has taken specialty training in the
discipline of pathology) to make the claim that Eliza Jane died of
something other than AIDS. She had an AIDS-defining illness, and I don't
know of any competent pathologist (and I'm one myself) who wouldn't have
made that diagnosis. Dr. Al-Bayati may teach and work in the department
of pathology, but he's not qualified (or trained) to make those diagnoses.

Alas, I think the denialists are working from a predetermined,
irrational viewpoint and evidence is not going to change this. But you
gotta keep telling the truth. Keep it up.

http://oracknows.blogspot.com/2005/1....html#comments

The child had an "AIDS-defining illness" which means that ONLY AIDS can
cause it. Nothing else.

However, the anti-medicine people will continue to find ways to
discredit this.

Yeah, for trusting allopathic medicine

But that's the point. They don't trust allopathic medicine. So they
should stick to their guns, and not see doctors when they become ill.
Which Maggiore is bound to, eventually.

But you know what will happen instead. Just as in this case, she'll get
pneumcystis pneumonia and show up at the hospital, blue and asking for
help. THEN her husband will blame ANY antibiotic she is given, for why
she doesn't get better, or dies.

Better that these people had the courage of their convictions and
stayed the hell home. Heath nuts who blame medicine for disease NEED to
stay home, so they can feel properly stupid, dying of nothing. Instead
they wus-out, come to the medical profession in extremis, and finally
blame the treatment. That's the entire story of AIDS deniers. They all
die, but they all pretend it's the doctors that are to blame.

Maggiore and her husband are precisely what you describe. In a way, I
hope that we do see the bird flu jump species and a good vaccine is
developed for it. Then, those anti-vacs will stick to their guns and not
get vaccinations, and prove Darwin is correct.

COMMENT:

This has very nearly happened already, as the AIDS drugs got pretty
good when the protease inhibitors came out, and the deniers then either
had to take the pills and admit they had a problem, or else die. So
we've heard a lot less in the last decade from those actually INFECTED
with HIV. If they weren't busy taking HAART they were busy dying, and
either way they weren't doing much activism. The AIDS-deniers have been
suspiciously HIV-negative, of late. Here's an exception. And of course,
a death. This 3 year-old girl who Maggiore was claiming was full of
"vibrant life" turns out to be a sick little child who spent the last
half of her life weighing below the 3rd percentile of her peers. She
wasn't doing well. Somehow, everybody forgot to ask why.

Where they came up with this doofus Egyptian vet toxicologist whose
specialty is vanadium poisoning and organophosphates, and thinks he can
speak to what happened in a pediatric human infectious death, is beyond
me. But there he is, opining about parvovirus B19, as though he'd
actually seen and treated a case in a real child. Which I'm sure he
hasn't.

I have. Kids with "fifth disease" have a rash. They don't come in so
hypoxic that have a respiratory arrest and die. They don't have
pneumonia (unless it's caused by yet a second bug). They may be anemic
(and the Maggiore child's anemia was blamed on this) but the anemia
doesn't look like AIDS, where there lymphocytes are selectively
targetted and in far worse condition than the red cells. Nor is B19
anemia a microcytic anemia, which is the kind the Maggiore child had.

A 3 year-old who presents with fever and no lung obstruction and an
X-ray showing minor infiltrates, but hypoxia all out of proportion to
the X-ray, is a candidate for Pneumocystis pneumonia. If that organism
with inflammatory casts is actually found in the lungs on autopsy, then
that makes the diagnosis. Needless to say, amoxicillin doesn't
magically cause Pneumocystis fungi to show up in your lungs. And in a
3 year-old that disease (pneumocystis pneumonia without other reason
for it) is AIDS-defining. Finding lymphocytopenia and HIV viral
proteins in the brain is merely icing on the cake, with a cherry on
top. If her mother is HIV-positive you don't have to be Einstein to
figure out how she got it. And apparently some of these people are a
long way from Einstein.

and

Last I recall (from sci.med a few months ago) what we knew was that
she'd died suddenly, and there was a discussion here that this didn't
sound entirely consistent with PCP. Is the above information about the
PMH and autopsy results posted somewhere?

http://catallarchy.net/blog/wp-conte...t_on_Eliza.pdf

You can also find al-Bayati's report which Dr. Bennett assumed was
accurate in his above analysis.

Where they came up with this doofus Egyptian vet toxicologist

Yes, the doofus is a toxicologist, not a medical pathologist and most
certainly not a forensic pathologist, the specialty which provides the
most comprehenisve training to determine cause, manner and mechanism of
death.

However, because Jan refuses to get a clue, she reposts this bull**** a
hundred times as if it means something to rebut my point.

Just ask him what he has a license in and tell him to stop clowning around
pretending he is an expert in something he knows very little about.

Now Robert is side tracked on licensed.

While Probert is forensiced

And Harris is doofused

LOL, what a gang!

Furthermore, he is NOT a disbarred attorney!

Jan, try to discuss the points I raised. al-Bayati is NOT a forensic
pathologist, which is the one specialty trained to render opinions on
cause, manner and mechanism of death.

Restored:

OK. and read this really slowly:

al-Bayati never treated a human patient, and there is NO evidence that
he ever even attended an autopsy.
