That's the explanation I was given when I was a Midwifery Student. I don't see why they can't delay the synto until the cord has been clamped, *after* it has stopped pulsating. Hmm, this 3rd stage thing is something I'm going to have to investigate more. Is there perhaps a FAQ for it? -- Mogget |
