Default OT Sleep times

Are there any guidlines to how long babies should sleep for? I have a 10
week baby who sleeps for 15-18 hours a day. Is this about right?

Sometimes I have to rock my baby to sleep because I think he's over
stimulated and has started to get grisly.

A link to a site which gives me some guidlines on how much sleep babies need
at various ages would be good.
