Arms & Sockets
Speaking as someone who, as a child, had her arms pulled out of her sockets
by an older sister, DON'T PULL YOUR BABES BY THEIR ARMS. My sister used to pick me up like you do Kivi, and she also gave me "Airplane Rides" where she'd swing me around in a circle by my arms till we BOTH got dizzy. One day - POP. And yes, I have MANY joint problems, especially in my arms/elbows/shoulders. Just MHO/Experience! Corinne -- "Since AP parents are accused of "spoiling" their children with responsiveness, love, understanding, patience, positive interaction, intimacy and closeness, respect, and value - I have decided that spoiling ROCKS! Teaching my child that she ALWAYS deserves all of the above is the right thing to do, and I plan to own my spoiling ways. Baby Spoilers Unite!" --Jessica, iVillage AP board |
