Default Steve's COMMUNIST parenting ideology.

Assault is illegal. Why should an assault against a 2 year old be
legal but not assault against 30 year old?

And if you're defining a simple spanking as "assault", you just blew your
entire argument.

Good questions. I wonder why Steve has not responded?

I have no idea why one would think that parental authority should be based on
violence towards chilren. I have no idea why children are allowed to be brutalized
and physically assuaulted in the name of discipline, when all forms of physical
assault for any reason are illegal once an individual reaches the age of 18. And I
certainly have no idea why parental authority should be given a special
dispensation.

Why do you think that parental authority should be based on violence
towards children?

If the government does not allow adults to be brutalized, then why
should it allow children to be brutalized?

Assault is illegal. Why should an assault against a 2 year old be

Default APOLOGY!! Steve's COMMUNIST parenting ideology.

I attributed this to Steve, and it should have been Greg. I apologize.

His question was of Greg Hanson, not me. Attributions, people!

There's no appropriate "authority" for parents anyway!

Absolutely.

Me neither.
