Default origins of polio

Anyone who's really interested in the history of polio, and how the
polio
epidemics correlate with pesticide production, will do well to read
the
following article by Jim West,

http://www.geocities.com/harpub/pol_all.htm

Polio was a new disease (which should already be quite suspicious),
and it
was never really 'eradicated'. The same types of symptoms are still
quite
prevalent, they are just given different names/diagnoses. Polio
vaccines
didn't really help anyone, as Dr. Sabin seems to confirm below.

Regards,

Yuri.

"Official data have shown that the large-scale vaccinations undertaken
in
the US have failed to obtain any significant improvement of the
diseases
against which they were supposed to provide protection." -- Dr A.
Sabin,
developer of the Oral Polio vaccine.

You forget to mention that the disease has been irradicated from the US,
where they use lots of insecticides and from nearly all other countries.

I did mention about the "irradicated" (sic) part.

You didn't read the material that I posted.

No wonder you remain ignorant.

Polio was first described in 1789.

Me smells a rat. It's rather funny that someone would attribute this
to Sabin, since the Sabin Vaccine Institute's principal goal is
immunization. Why would Sabin say such a thing, yet continue to
advocate for vaccination, even after his death? I suspect this
quotation, if real, is taken out of context. If so, then you would be
propagating a fraud. Can you please provide the entire text of Dr.
Sabin's comments?

AFP is simply the description of a condition. There are many things
that can cause AFP, including polioviruses.

A Google search turns up two classes of places where the quote
appears: Anti-vaccination liar web sites and Usenet posts. Ergo, Sabin
never said it.

(It is mentioned once in the Snopes discussion forum, where people
came to the same conclusion that I did.)

Just another lie told by anti-vaccination liars.

Default origins of polio

I'll suggest Polio has always been around. In the past people
didn't realise that infantile paralysis was Polio. Before germ theory
and modern sanitation, it is likely most infant or small children
caught the virus early in life with most only having a case
of mild diarrhea. Even in ancient times, some had symptoms
that match those infantile paralysis (polio) with whithered limbs.

I'll suggest this is a case of noncausative correlation.

Don't get me wrong, DDT and similar chemical likely have had
and still have adverse effects. DDT in birds and likely
in mammals has adverse effects on the calcium absorption by
way of antagonist effect to vitamin D. Given the vitamin D
is now seen to have a wide range effects, it would follow
DDT would have a wide range of adverse effects. Resulting in more
cancers, more autoimmune disorders, weaken shells and weaken
bones.

Bingo! They couldn't just lie about what Pasteur said, they lie about
what anyone says.
Heck, Jan Drew even lies about what SHE says.
