Default starting to resent night nursing - HELP

Do you have a crib for him? You might try using it. If you want to
continue to cosleep and if you have a partner living with you, could
you do as you already did and sleep on the couch for a little while?
Your partner could confort the baby when he woke. he could put a few
pillows on your side of the bed to stop DS from falling out. It
probably would not be easy for your partner to comfort the baby, since
the baby's used to nursing at night, but after a few nights, if you're
consistent, DS should get used to it. You can still night nurse, but
limit it to, say, every 6 hours or every 4 hours or whatever seems
reasonable. Once dS has gotten used to not being nursed more
frequently, you can try sleeping in the bed again and see if he stays
with the plan.

This is my goal. I have a new plan. I am trying to stretch out his night
feeding a little. So much for the first night, he was up every 2 hours. But
once I get him to take fewer feedings I will start putting him back in his
crib after he falls asleep every time. Hopefully this will be a start. Maybe
this advice will help the others in our boat.
Kris
