Now you're talking about measures to ensure that the money paid by men
actually is spent on their children, rather than going into the mother's
pocket. However, in the U.S. at least, I know of no state that does
anything whatsoever to ensure that this happens. Any proposals for
accountability of CS are always is fought tooth and mail by the
organizations that claim to represent mothers.

By now, it's perfectly clear that almost all of the women who get
pregnant by high-profile rich men are doing it for the "child support" money
they can collect. The mystery to me is why the men involved, who are
apparently so competent in other fields of endeavor, apparently fail to
understand what is going on, and modify their behavior accordingly.
