Default I found something that soothes fussing (groan!)

I forgot to mention that when I am at my most exhausted when Rachel is
fussy, after she's fed and changed, but just won't nap...I found something
that makes her go to sleep in my arms.

Rachel evidently loves the Wiggles, and she will doze off and smile if I
walk her around the house with Wiggles songs playing. I discovered this when
they were on tv one day and I was walking around trying to soothe her, and
they were singing that annoying Hot Potato song. Hot potato, hot
potato...hot potato hot potato....hot potato hot potato, potato potato
potato.

I have a Wiggles CD now and I walk her or stand still and swing her in my
arms and she goes right to sleep. ((groan)) I can hardly wait until she
starts wanting to watch them on tv over and over.

My friend told me yesterday "I should have married a Wiggle! Then he could
do everything for the baby and I could relax." LOL!

LOL - We have a Wiggles CD permanently in the portable cd player here (the
one that DD can reach) ....and if I ever catch Henry the bl**dy Octopus I
think I'll have to cut him up and put him in the marinara mix!!! I can play
the *wonderful* Playschool CDs in the main player but if I attempt to swap
CDs in the little player, she just gets so upset that its not playing the
"right" songs "Where Wags go??? Oh no! Where Wags go?????????"

Try doing what DH does (although preferably not in front of the kids) ... I
was complaining that I had a wiggles song stuck in my head and it was
driving me nuts ... so he made up some rather lewd lyrics to the tune and
sung those to me Strangely enough, I can now giggle my way through a few
of the songs....

speaking of TV stuff have you all seen Boohbah's yet my dd loves it. In fact
was walking around Toys r us the other day and she spotted it and I picked it
up off the shelf to see what it would do and when I went to put it back, she
started crying. So I had to buy it for her. I hope this doesn't spoil her.
Anyway my DD will be 1 lol isn't it funny how they can get drawn in by all
those colors and sounds and the characters.
