Hello all,

I took two pregnancy tests this morning, and here is a picture of the
results I got:

http://michelle.someways.net/uploads/preg.jpg

The top one clearly shows a relatively faint line, so we bought a
different brand (the first may have been from the dollar store!) - the one
shown on the bottom - and another faint line showed up, but it is a good
bit further to the left than the instructions would indicate (the pic
shows the photo from the test box).

Congratulations! Your lines are both far darker than my initial positive
lines. Positioning is not so cricital as one line or two, and the dollar
tree tests are usually as sensitive or more sensitive than the "other" brand
you used, particularly before the missed period.

Check out http://www.peeonastick.com for more to compare to.

Hello all,

Please help me decide if this is a positive!

The instructions for both tests were followed religiously and both lines =

either=20
today or tomorrow. The bottom test claims to be able to detect up to 5 =
days=20
in advance.

Thank you all for your help!

Hi Everybody,

Thank you SO much for you kind words and support. I took another =
pregnancy=20
test about 30 minutes ago and this time the 2nd red line was very vivid! =

All doubt is gone now! The hubby and I are elated. We've wanted a baby =
for=20
years but due to some cervical dysplasia problems I had this is the =
first=20
time we were given the green light. I got pregnant the very first month =
we=20
tried. God is so good.

Thanks again. I'm sure I will be visiting this site many time over the =
next=20
9 months!! )

Sincerely,
Michelle=20

First
Response is a bit of a private joke around here.

I've always used the First Response Early Result. Never gotten a negative with
it.

Hmm....I may have used the cheaper First Response, I can't remember. I know
it said it was supposed to be accurate from the first day of your missed
period though, and it was far from it.

I actually got a stronger result from the Walgreens store brand of HPT than
the CNM got from the one the office uses, so there's definitely a brand
difference. (Although both were positive, the second was really faint). This
was at about 3 1/2 weeks after LMP.

I usually end up buying whatever is cheapest, which ends up either being
stock up at the dollar store or go with the store brand.
