Default Nuclear Stress Test - info needed ASAP

I'm really hoping someone can help me as soon as possible. I am currently
nursing a 17 month old (healthy) toddler. I had a nuclear stress test today
and received contradictory information about how long I need to stop
nursing. I called the hospital a week ago and the physicist at the hospital
told me that I needed to stop for only 4 hours after the completion of the
test. Today the doctor told me that it was probably safe to nurse but that
they recommend stopping for 24 hours. I then called Motherisk (Toronto Sick
Kid's Hospital) and they said that I need to stop for 3 days!!!

Here is the information I received from the technician at the hospital.
Would someone do me a HUGE favour and check Hales (if that's the resource)
and let me know. I'm worried sick about this.

Technetium 99m - MYOVIEW - tetrofosmin

Thank you!!!!!

Carolyn

Thank you for your response. I spoke again this morning to the

radiologist
at the hospital and they are convinced that their info (waiting 12 - 24
hours) is sufficient for the type of agent used, but concede that waiting

3
days (as per Motherisk/Sick Kid's) is a cautious approach. They did,
however, suggest a reasonable solution. I'm going to go back to the
hospital today and pump and they will test the milk.

That's a great idea. Glad you're getting the answer you need.
