Thanks for the idea

Yesterday, I was talking to DD (almost 12) and mentioned the
'code' that someone here mentioned so she can ask permission
to do something with a hidden meaning that she doesn't want
to do what she's asking about, and would her parents please
bail her out.

She really really likes the idea. Maybe it has something to
do with her spending all day yesterday in the Sun, so she
was completely a wreck when she got home because she did
too much yesterday, and didn't feel comfortable saying NO
to her friends who were swimming, sailing, etc., all day.
DD had a great time with her friends, but she just way
overdid things. So today she slept in, and has spent most
of the day reading.

So thanks to whomever mentioned that code -- it seems like
it'll make a nice difference for DD.
