When she can write (to us) then we know she is OK.

How's this, Larry? Ask and ye shall receive!

Seriously, thank you all for all your good thoughts, prayers, and
wishes.
I'm sure they helped. It was rough going there for a couple of days, but
I feel well enough now that I think they may spring me once they are
sure
I can do all my meds at home. I'm breathing well, although my chest
still
hurts a bit from where they pounded on me while I was in cardiac arrest.

Barbara, I'm so glad you're doing so well!

Look after yourself - I don't think most of us could handle another
scare like that

Barbara,

It's wonderful to see you online again and that you are on the mend.
My mom has been on Advair for the past year and tells me it has done
wonders for her asthma. Too funny about Vernon - I am sure he is
happy to have access to you again!

Kids were here this morning. Julian was thrilled to see Mommy (he woke
when the ambulance arrived, so he knew something was really wrong),
Vernon nursed like a fiend (he kept checking under my gown to be sure
they were still there g), and Aurora seemed subdued but pleased to
see me. So all is well. I hope to be home by tomorrow at the latest.

Modern medicine is a wondrous thing. You sound great, and I'm really
happy the outcome from your scare is so positive.

Yay! I am so glad to hear you're on the road to recovery--
and that you've got a plan to prevent a reoccurance! I was so
worried about you!

Take care,

I'm so glad to see a post from you in person, Barbara! Sounds like you're
speeding on your way to recovery. So glad to hear it! What a scary
experience--it was so good that you had the presence of mind to call 911
when you did.

Basically, I'm extremely lucky that a) I called 911 when I did and b)
the team that worked on me was awesome.

You know, (a) wasn't luck, it was your good judgement - pat yourself
on the back and let it tell you that you weren't helpless, you did the
right thing :-) Your experience must have been terrifying though.
Sympathies.

:Thank God! (really) I can breathe again! :-)

: Oh Larry, did you *really* mean to say THAT??????????
Ahhh. I get it! (finally) I actually meant I was holding
my breath waiting for her post. I was too stupid to
recognize the more direct implication.

Please, woman, have a little pity on your fan club! My nerves
are a little shot these days anyway: this is too much. So glad to
hear your voice, so to speak. Take extra good care of yourself--
