how far do you have to go on the big day?
I'm not sure the distance, but at 4am it took a little under 30
minutes, last time! It's the closest hospital, anyhow, but also happens to be the most progressive one in the area. I'm just hoping I don't hit morning rush hour - it could take up to an hour! Irene |

My midwife, who lived less than 5 minutes from me, had to go to the office first (20 minutes in the wrong direction) to pick up my file and the antibiotic for my IV. She had plenty of time - my water had just broken, and usually there's time when that happens. :-) However, if I had had to transfer, it would have taken 30-40 minutes to get there during rush hour, probably 20 otherwise. I don't know in miles, but only about 10 mins, and that's driving pretty
slowly. Since we're planning an induction for 38 weeks I don't imagine it to be an issue, or rather I hope it's not. wrote in message news I have to go 20 miles away from home to have my baby... last time is was the same. |
