Jeez!!
"Kelly" wrote in message ... My sister swollowed coins from the age of 4 to 10. We figure she is worth about $12.95 Maybe it was because we didn't tell mom but my sister never saw a doctor about it. She looks and acts like everyone else she is 40 now. Ste wrote: I caught my daughter, aged 5, chewing a 5p coin today and I severely warned her that she might swallow it. Shoulda took it off her but she was so looking forward to spending it on crap (sic), I let her keep hold it. Lessons to be learned. I've just returned from five hours in A&E, X-Ray and now I've got to dive into her poo, every poo, to confirm the damn thing has passed through her digestive system and not lodged in her guts somewhere. Yes, she did swallow the fecking thing, and I missed Coronation Street, as well. X-Ray shows it safely in her tummy. Do I send her to school with instructions to the teacher lest she needs to poo? Keep her off and do the poo myself? Any volunteers? Single dad, five really nice kids, honest!!! How long? I am NOT looking forward to this..... Steve in Scotland Attach a "One Arm Bandit " to her.....never know, ya might win the jackpot. Maybe ya could use her in Argos! Dolores |
