BATAVIA, Ohio (AP) - A hearing is scheduled in southwest Ohio this
afternoon to decide who'll get custody of David and Liz Carroll's four
children.

The Carrolls are the Cincinnati area couple convicted of murder in the
death of their 3-year-old foster child a year ago. Marcus Fiesel
(FY'-zuhl) had been left bound in a closet while the Carrolls went to a
weekend family reunion in Kentucky.

A Clermont County juvenile court judge is expected to decide if the
couple's children, who range in age from three to eight, will go to
David Carroll's mother or remain in foster care.

Liz Carroll's mother has asked only for visitation rights.

Lawyers for the Carrolls say they could possibly be brought from their
prison cells to attend the hearing.
