remarkably at peace with it, perhaps because I knew it was coming. Like
last two times the blow will probably not hit until the m/c is complete.
My eternal optimism doesn't allow me to think the worst until it has
actually happened... The cramping is on and off, but not really bad, so I
am at work today, trying to finish up some things I cannot let lie around.

As for why and how, I suspect this was another blighted ovum. Both my
feelings and all the evidence point in that direction, although only
another u/s could confirm it. When it is all over, we'll go and have some
testing done, but my gut feeling is this was just plain bad luck again.

So, BTDT BTTS, I know what's coming and am bracing myself. TIA for all
your good thoughts, I know many of you will be praying and thinking of me.
Don't worry too much if I don't show up here for another couple of days,
I'll be back for sure.

I am very sorry to hear this (

You just know when it's gone wrong, I did with my m/c. I even ended up
pushing away my other kids for a while. The emotional pain drove me crazy.

I'm not sure if this is appropriate or not, but I also had early cramping
and bleeding (at 8 weeks- sorry I don't know how far along you are), and
more spotting again at 10 weeks. I am now 15 weeks and all is well.

Whatever happens, be good to yourself. Try and look towards the future, no
matter how desperate you feel. I had convinced myself that I would never
have a child naturally after losing three, but here we are. I also felt (and
still do many times, unfortunately) that if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have
no luck at all.

Hug your little one and try to count your blessings. I know that is really
really hard right now.
