Arrrrrgh. Another cliff-hanger. I have an idea, post
the last installment first, and work backwards from there!

: "I guess this is it," I said. The understatement of the year. The kids

: While Neil was gone, I sat on the bathroom floor on my knees on a heap of

: Time passed very slowly. I felt like it was taking Neil forever to return,

: about 15 minutes, though. He through the stuff I had set out into my bag.
: I worked through the contractions, moaning, and I asked a couple of times
: where my mom was.

: Mom arrived and I complained about how painful this was and how I couldn't
: stand it. She and Neil helped me get some underwear with a depends and some
: pants on. We went downstairs and made our way to the van. When I stepped
: outside I was hit by how cold it was. It had frozen the night before. The
: cold air felt really good and when I lay down in the back of the van with a
: bunch of towels under my head, I told Neil to keep the heat off. A very
: unusual request from chilly ol' me.

: We were on the road at around 8:30 am, and I was in full-blown labor.

: More to come in Part 3. My kids won't let me finish typing, so it might be
: a bit!

No, I think a better idea is to write it all down in Word, then don't post
it until you have it all done -- that way, you can take your sweet time in
writing it, and post it in 1, 2 or 3 "fell swoops!"

: )

I'm loving it though, and am on the edge of my seat.

Sorry, Larry! I did send off the third and last part now. One has to
write in installments when there are constant interruptions from kids! My
plan was to write the whole thing at night after they'd gone to bed, but for
some reason I keep falling asleep on the couch.
