NCSingleParent.com releases first edition of Single Parent Times Press Contact: Montie Roland Cary, N.C. -- NCSingleParent.com, a recently launched web site designed to be an interactive resource for single parents all across North Carolina, recently released the inauguaral edition of its newsletter, Single Parent Times. NCSingleParent.com was founded by Montie Roland, a single parent and the owner of Cary-based Montie Design (http://www.montie.com). The newsletter can be downloaded at www.NCSingleParent.com. The first issue of Single Parent Times includes an article by Roland explaining why he created the site, an article by family law attorney Steve Monks of Durham, and an article by Christine Myers, President of the Triangle chapter of Parents Without Partners. "The idea for NCSingleParent.com came about as a result of my own struggles and challenges," says Roland. "The site is intended to provide easy access to information on how to deal with the issues single parents face every day." NCSingleParent.com features forums specifically aimed at issues unique to single parents. The legal issues forum covers child support and other divorce and child custody-related issues and is moderated by a family law attorney. The financial issues forum is moderated by a financial planner who is also a single parent. Other forums address issues such as separation, divorce and even finding help with tasks such as home repair. NCSingleParent.com also features a forum addressing the needs of single parents who are widowed. This forum is moderated by a widow with a burden for assisting other widowed individuals. The site's other resources include articles written by other single parents on issues such as how to plan a vacation and features event postings for single parent-related events and classes in the Triangle area.
