At a certain point anecdotal plurality does indeed become sound
empirical evidence...data.

Proof?

We live our lives, daily, acting out what our senses have informed us
about reality.

I suppose you, rather regularly, avoid stepping in front of oncoming
buses.

Jeffs suggestion that a referrence to peer-reviewed

Please provide peer-reviewed evidence.

Jeff

"Peer review in the grant giving process is so restrictive that most
innovative scientists know they would never receive funding if they
actually said what they were going to do. Scientists therefore have
to tell lies in their grant applications. Such views have explicitly
been stated by at least two Nobel Laureates."

The (JAMA) article contends that medicine has lost sight of the basic
purpose of peer review, asserting, "the true aim of peer review in
biomedical science must be to improve the quality of patient care."

I don't see anyone writing any grants here.

I am just asking you to back your claim with real evidence.

Jeff

I didn't make any claim.

This is what peer review is really all about. If you can suggest a process
that would be more fair and accurate for selecting manuscripts and grant
proposals, please do.

Check out Mehl-Madrona on Google Scholar and on Pubmed.

Psychiatrist Lewis Mehl-Madrona, M.D., Ph.D., who received his

medical
degree from Stanford, has worked with autistic children for

decades -
not only using traditional medicine, but also trying alternative
approaches.

Strangely, none of the posting to Google Scholar concern Autism.

You are indeed strange.

-------------------

I do not see any references to anything he has written regarding autism. For
a person who claims to have worked with autistic kids for decades, he has no
written track record of doing so.

That is strange. Sort of like someone who claims to have done something for
38 years and refuses to post a single iota of proof of that claim.
