Problem is, it's whose perception of having the ability to pay!

Most of us don't have two nickels to rub together, yet we are expected to
pay between $400 to $700/mth.
BTW, I ain't no spring chicken and have lots of enery to work two jobs!


If custody was reversed and my husband's ex had my two step-children, my
husband would be paying her $850+/month. Meanwhile she is required to pay
only $161/month. We cut her slack, but she would never return that favor if
it was reversed. It is something she reminds him of frequently as one of
her many arguments against helping - even with $75/month.

As far as the spring chicken thing... well he isn't young, but he has a lot
of spring in him!
