Breastfeeding in bed is fine as far as that goes. I use a haberman feeder
when Erin has a bottle.

Andrea mom of 6 Erin is 10 weeks!

Ear infections are generally not a problem with breastfed babies. In
fact, nursign lying donw is a excellent way to nurse and get some rest
yourself. Keep it up!

Second, a couple of comments on bottle feeding. I believe from your
previous post that your baby is about 6 weeks. That means that this
is about the right time to introduce it if you can. However, what are
you putting in the bottle? You should not be using formula. Instead,
you should be pumping and feeding expressed breast milk. Babies who take
formula are shown to do less well than babies who are fed exclusively
breast milk.

Hope this helps,
Larry
