We're even more stripped-down:

0 churches
0 schools
0 cars
3 people
1 (full-time, paying) job

Yikes!
We are
1 family
1 and two half churches

Now, this I find fascinating -- how do you have two half churches?

1 school
2 cars
5 people
1 job (but very pressurised)
1 scout troop
and odd bits of volenteer work

Hmm -- this is kind of fun! We a
1 family, with
1 church
2 schools (DD's and mine -- I'm a part-time grad student at the
university I work for)
1 car
3 people
2 pets, and
2 jobs

Between DH & I, we have about 6 outside "hats," but all but 1 of these
are connected to either DD's preschool (I'm on the board) or church
(we're on 4 committees between us). After a short-lived attempt at
swimming lessons didn't go well, DD is activity-less except for
preschool at the moment.

We a
1 family
1 synagogue
1 SUV
1 job
1 sole proprietorship
2 schools
2 cell phones
5 extra-curricular activities (including religious education)
5 people
5 computers (1 belongs to the company I work for and is used for work only)

It is the extra-curriculars that has us pulling our hair out; at least #6/7
(soccer for 2 kids at different times) is out of season right now.

Life with kids too young to be in school really simplifies things. We a

4 people
1 dog (and about a zillion worms in a basement composter)
1 church
2 cars that run, 1 antique 4-wheel drive that doesn't
1.5 jobs (that pay)

That's it. Pretty easy at this point. But we're new to our church and not on
any committees yet, and DS will probably start preschool soon . . . it
begins . . .

Like Sophie, I guess we're boring.

We have 1 family, with:

4 people
2 cats
1 church
2 schools (one's a preschool)
2 cars
2 jobs
3 computers
0 TVs
1 afterschool activity - swimming, twice a week. (I refuse to do
anything outside school more than 2 days a week per child, and
fortunately the little one doesn't do anything extra.)

1 activity - gymnastics
1 car, 1 van

1 job - his - very inconsistent

LOL, I'll play and let others decide if I'm boring or not...

1 family plus an au pair (going home on the 17th--sob!)
0 churches
3 schools (one elementary for one child, two preschools for another)
2 activities (soccer, piano lessons)
4 vehicles (one minivan, two commuter cars--one needs major repair and is
not being driven at present, and one cargo van that belongs to my mother but
"lives" at my house)
6 people (but soon to be only 5)
5 jobs (hubby's new job plus working part-time to finish out projects at his
old one; my full-time WAH job; au pair's full-time job with our family and
her part-time job working for another family at the weekends--we should be
down to only two jobs again in a couple of weeks, though!)

We are pretty boring too - but that is specifically by design (and the
personalities of both DH and myself - we are pretty much homebodies
and our
kid(s) are still quite small).

1 family - 3.5 (the .5 is due in 4 weeks!) people
0 churches (although we live next door to a church and are renting out
their parsonage)
1 school (DS's preschool)
2 cars
2 pets
1.5 jobs (me full; DH part time from home)

Thankfully the extracurricular stuff has not started yet, and when it
does, will be pretty limited to one or two activities per child.

It's interesting seeing everybody's responses. Here's us:

1 family, with
4 people
1 dog
1 cat
3 cars
3 jobs (2 part time)
1 school (which will change next year to two)
2 religious education teachers
2 religious education students
3 after school activities, plus music practice at home
various amounts of school volunteering.

Yikes, I'm tired just looking at all this.

Lesley
