CONCORD, N.H. -- Divorced fathers are backing bills at the New Hampshire
Legislature that would give them more time with their children and trim
their child support payments.

They're getting help from a legislative commission that wants to cut
court-ordered child support to the bone.

The Commission to Study Child Support and Related Custody Issues wants to
make each parent responsible for only half the actual cost of their
children's basic needs, regardless of each parent's income.

I read this and could only hope that it became true in my state. How
quickly the greedy custodials would give up some time with there chilln if
it didnt pay so well to keep them away.
