Makes yah kind of wonder at the magical thinking of the rest of them, eh? If I hit a kid of 17.9 it's spanking, CP. If he's 18 and one minute, it's criminal assault. Now THAT is magical thinking, or as our little monkey boy likes to say, Cargo Cult thinking. Not assaulting a child is not just a matter for law....it's a moral principle and stands up to the cowardly hitting of someone smaller and more vulnerable than one's self. I detest cowards. Thanks for posting this. My pleasure, most certainly. 0:- LaVonne wrote: Community stunned as HS coach charged with spanking players BY LINDSAY FABER STAFF WRITER July 7, 2005 A Staten Island coach and community figure has been arrested on charges of spanking teenage boys if they missed their basketball shots, officials said. Now if you call all hitting "beating" then we have something to discuss. 0:- Do you? Try liver. They say it's brain food. 0:- |

I've a question for you. What the difference in the seemingly similar analogy, children can be spanked up until 17.9 years of age, and then they can't,and this: Children can't vote until they are 18? Would it be something to do with choice, maybe. R R R R R R And that one is assault and the other is voting, for goodness sake? Can YOU see the logic in these two as analogy? I certaining smirk can. If you wanted to make a fool of someone could you do it better than they by their use of such an analogy? I certainly smirk couldn't. Can you say Dancing Monkey? Oops! The "never-spanked" showed his stupidity again! Maybe LaVonne can train him how to lie again. Where are those studies, LaVonne? ;-) Doan On 25 Jul 2005 wrote: Carlson LaVonne wrote: Kane, Perhaps this nation is beginning to realize that assault is assault, even when the victims are under the age of 18.
