info for those TTC

Hello! Just a quick note to tell those who are trying to conceive
their first child to tell of another newsgroup they may want to visit--

alt.infertility.primary

This is a group for those who are ttc who have never had a live birth
of a child of their own. We do have strict rules about headers when
mentioning pgs, children, etc, so do read the FAQ or lurk before
posting. But, we could use more good blood over there! The definition
by medical terms of infertility is more than one year of trying, but
people start posting whenever they feel frustrated at their progess. I
think I started posting about 10 months into trying. Point being, even
if you haven't been "diagnosed" as infertile, if you are having trouble
getting that illusive second line, you might want to come by. As
supportive as this group is, for those that are still ttc it can
sometimes be emotionally difficult to deal with all the pg/baby
discussions. That is what alt.infertility.primary is for-- a safe
haven to bitch and moan about life, and get support!

If you are ttc after already having at least one child, you can post to
alt.infertility.secondary. They have somewhat looser rules on headers
etc, since of course children will be discussed in their newsgroup a
lot.
