I would never go so far as to say "all vaccines" are anything in
particular . I know that the human diploid cell vaccine against rabies
(the one given to people) can be given either intramuscularly or
intradermally. I would make an educated guess that some other vaccines can
be given ID, too, but I don't know.

Easy...the smallpox scar most people over about 35 have...an ID vaccine.

The BCG is ID too.

HOLLY: Nothing wrong with dog's milk. Full of goodness, full of
vitamins, full of marrowbone jelly. Lasts longer than any other type
of milk, dog's milk.
LISTER: Why?
HOLLY: No bugger'll drink it. Plus the advantage of dog's milk is when
it goes off it takes exactly the same as when it's fresh.
LISTER: Why didn't you tell me, Holly?!
HOLLY: What, and spoil your tea?

any being given into the circulatory system directly.

First I've heard of it. How widely available is it? My oldest son is
eligible for flu vaccine due to reactive airways as an infant/toddler, but
he really dislikes the shots. If he could sniff it up the nose, I think he'd
be much more accepting...

I was just reading about the FluMist last night. We won't be able to use it
due to Allison's compromised immune system, but that sure would be nice to
not have to get shots.

We are seeing ads for it on TV (I'm in the Southeast US). Don't know
how that translates to availability though.

Ive seen the ads on TV for it here in Canada, but when I inquired about it
we cannot seem to get it here.
So all 3 of us are going for our flu shots in a few weeks! We are all sick
with the flu now, and have been for over a week

I've seen commercials for it on TV.

The only commercial TV I've watched in the past few months has been during
baseball and football games. I guess they don't want you thinking about the
flu durting sports, because I haven't seen the ads.

It's a modified live rather than killed virus vaccine, though.

I thought all flu vaccines were modified live vaccines rather than killed
virus? I could be wrong about that, mind you. I just was under that
impression because they were discouraged during the first trimester of
pregnancy and I thought the modified live aspect was the reason for this.
