another first day of school by
Andrea
Aww Leslie! Bless your heart. It's so hard when they cry when you leave them,
isn't it? My Jordan started doing that at the end of last school year and it
broke my heart and really upset me every morning she did it (although I tried
to play it cool around her).
Good luck tomorrow with the bus. ...

scary then, funny now. by
middletree
Today, while I was at work, my wife Beth (I guess I'm supposed to say DW,
right?) took our boy (our twins turn 2 next Thursday) outside to put some
mail in the mailbox. Our girl, Abby, locked the door, from the inside. This
freaked Beth out, as she couldn't get to Abby, and was locked outside...

First day of school.....sob :( by
Andrea
I thought I was doing pretty good this school year. I cried for a month before
Jordan & Madison started Mother's Morning Out 2 years ago, and cried for
several days before they started 2 year-old preschool last year. So I was
pretty proud of myself when I made it to today with no tears. I took...

So I am sitting here studying the organization tips in another thread and
then suddenly panicking because there's this weird watery banging noise
coming from the rough vicinity of my dishwasher and I'm thinking it must be
breaking down (and it's only 8 months old and I just don't need the...

Announcement/ Loss of Twins Ment by
Colleywobbles_24
I had contemplated whether or not to post this here but as a lot you know I
was expecting twins in December. Some of you may have seen my post on the
pregnancy board but I thought I would post here as well because I want
people to know about my babies, they did exsist if only for a short time...

Just checking for a pulse. by
The Huwe Family
It sure seems like there are hardly any postings going on in here anymore.
Did you all give birth and are just really busy with your new babies? (I
know I will be.)
I used to check and there would be 30 new postings or responses, now all I
ever get is 2 or 3. Where did everyone go?

France (at last) by
multimom4
Finally, The Report on our trip to France, June 21 thru July 28.
Sean was already in France for business, and took as much luggage as I could
pack ahead of time (a lot) to save me the carrying. On the night before, I
had everything ready so I actually got to bed before 10, which was a smart
move....

30 week update by
Ellie
We've been for our 30 week appointment today - I really can't believe that
after all this time I'm now 30 weeks pg with twins!
Both babies are doing beautifully and their estimated weight today is around
3.5 lb. Twin 1 is still in breech (sp?) position and twin 2 is moving to a
head down position...

did you see the Dilley six-pack on Primetime? by
what to do
I agree, the parents are terrific. One of the Discovery channels
reruns the Primetime interview frequently.
Just saw the whole family in a Campbell's Soup ad. I am so glad they
have the extra income.

How to deal with fears? by
Andrea
I know that childhood fears start popping up around this age (3 1/2 next
month), but one of my twins is taking it to the extreme. Madison will not go
into any room by herself until someone goes in & turns the light on for her,
even in the middle of the day. She says there are monsters everywhere. ...

Sibling Rivalry by
Tanya Makins
Hi,
Can anyone advise me on how to deal with a jelous 6 year old. The twins are
now 19 months old and his behaviour has just got worse since they were born.
He's really cheaky, won't go to bed all the usual stuff I suppose. I have
always been very good at routine but he seams to be very good at...

Corrected age and swimming lessons by
Marie
My boys were born 9 weeks premature, which means that their corrected age is
about 2 months less than their absolute age.
I'm looking at enrolling us in a waterbabies program that Parks&Rec runs:
where babies are introduced to the swimming pool. Babies have to be 6mos at
the time the course...

Triplets - Can they share a sac and not be monoamniotic? by
Ms.Confusion
I just found out today that I am pregnant with triplets (5w4d) (w/o
fertility drugs). My doctor says it looks like they are sharing a sac
but said it's too early to tell. He also said b/c I was bleeding I
had a 50/50 chance of miscarriage. I have a higher level U/S next
monday. I have never...
