Default Great News - Life made safer for Australian Children

On Sunday, March 13, the president of the Australian Vaccination
Network announced that the organisation would be going out of business
within a week if money could not be found to pay some debts. I would
have had a certain amount (a small amount) of sympathy if the
announcement had not contained a gratuitous attack on Australian
Skeptics and, through the use of the words "anti-vaccination liars",
indirectly on me.

When I started to feel sympathetic, I remembered that the president of
AVN coined the phrase "Shaken Maybe Syndrome" as a way of linking the
violent deaths of children to vaccines, she described measles as
"benign" and ridiculed an airline because it wanted to warn passengers
that they may have been exposed to something "less severe than a
hangnail", and that she once issued a release about me which contained
a lie which she knew was untrue at the time she wrote it.

No, great for children, because their parents won't believe the antivaccine
lies, so the children will get vaccinated and be more likely to grow up.

The only good news is the investor will make more $$$$$$ and the rot of all
evil if the love of money, which the adverse effects of vaccines are sealed
and is the works of the power that be while they call other vaccination
liars.

A truth's initial commotion is directly proportional to how deeply the lie
was believed. When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to
the
masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its
speaker, a raving lunatic. -Dresden James

Yeah pharma asshole, lets have another 500,000 kids grow up autistic, that
is the ones that aren't killed by vaccines

Live polio vaccine is no longer used in the US, except for special cases.

The other stories are real sad. Unfortunatley, with any vaccine, there is
risk. You have weigh the benefit and the risk of the vaccnes. The benefit is
far greater than the risk. How many babies die of measles, mumps,
rubella-related birth defects, polio and small pox each year?

I am not suggesting that these risks are acceptable. Everything must be done
to make vaccines safer.

BTW, I am not even sure that these 3 cases below are related to vaccines.
They are just anecdote.

Please don't call LadyLollipop names. The kids on my soccer team gave that
up in kindergarten. There is no evidence that vaccines cause autism. PERIOD.

And vaccine are very safe. Not perfectly safe, of course, Nothing is.
