Default Rash on Face

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have developed a rash on my face. It started
underneath my nose and has spread around my face and neck. On Sunday, I
felt like my face was on fire and now (Tuesday) it feels more like an
itch. I am going crazy and am so miserable, I just want to cry. I can't
get in to see my doctor until Thursday afternoon. Does anyone have
experience with this? Do you think it is related to the pregnancy? Could
it be shingles??

I am not positive but I "think" shingles start on the back and are scaly
like shingles.. Have you tried a anti itch cream or Benadryl. I think that
is ok for pregnancy. Have you changed any of your face care products
lately? It could be an allergic reaction.

Could be shingles:
Shingles starts at a nerve and may go along the nerve. It certainly could be
on the face. Looks like chickenpox spots. Have you had shingles before?
Because it will go along the same nerve.
I'd suggest you get it checked out. It could be pregnancy related.

Ok, I missed the original post, but I read it. I had something very similar
with Matthew. Actually, I've had what I'd call outbreaks of it every so
often since college. It got so bad when I was pregnant that I finally saw a
my GP and a dermatologist. My GP thought it could be facial herpes (only
I've never had a mouth cold sore, maybe it's different?) and the derm wasn't
sure, but thought it could be something called perioral dermatitis. Because
I was pregnant and planning to bf he couldn't prescribe anything stronger
than Erythromyacin gel, but it worked. I still use it every so often when it
starts to come back. If I were you, I'd make an appt. with a dermatologist
asap because they take forever to get an appt with. HTH
